A Manager of Resiliency Programs at Oncor is responsible for leading the strategy development efforts of programs and reporting related to Oncor resiliency programs. This role also manages the implementation of initiatives in these programs by defining scope and priority, establishing Key Performance Indicators, tracking performance and reporting progress. This includes the oversight of all designated Program Mangers and their respective programs, including assisting with regulatory filings associated with resiliency programs.

Requirements

  • Proven communication and team-building skills for effective interface with internal and external entities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Strong problem solving, conflict management and negotiation skills to research and provide solutions to complex issues, identify root causes and coordinate process improvements.
  • Leadership, subject knowledge, and experience in electric utility project lifecycle to direct the efforts of a group of internal employees and external contractors.
  • Proven leadership and demonstrated ability to promote Company position and initiatives.
  • Experience leading a cross-functional team responsible for developing and executing strategic plans across business units or organizations.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required with 10 years of experience in the design, operation and/or execution of electric utility related projects OR A Bachelor's degree in related disciplines such as engineering, business, construction can be accepted in lieu of the above.
  • Manager I: Minimum 4 years of experience in design, operation and/or project management with an electric utility. Applicants with 2 years of project management and/or management experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Manager II: Minimum 6 years of experience in design, operation and/or project management with an electric utility. Applicants with at least 1 year of experience in a management role within a utility are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the resiliency programs Program Managers and their respective programs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to help establish Program Management framework for resiliency programs inclusive of strategy development, prioritization of scope, program management and integrated reporting.
  • Develop, own, and maintain processes needed to facilitate integrated project/program scoping between various Oncor workgroups and activities.
  • Manage relationships with various Oncor work groups to ensure successful strategy development and execution of resiliency programs.
  • Assist with cross functional effort to ensure timely completion of regulatory filings related to resiliency programs.
  • Performs all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other job requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and SME knowledge about both the current and desired future states of Oncor's resiliency programs.
  • Lead the cross functional effort to ensure timely completion of regulatory filings related to resiliency programs.
