Here is a chance for you to make a positive impact - j oin us in this career opportunity: Manager - Human Resources This supervisory position, located in Delavan, Wisconsin, will provide strategic and operational oversight of all aspects of HR practices and processes. This role partners with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and achieve organizational KPI's, to best drive profitability. Under the guidance of the CEO, responsibilities include: HR Operations: Streamline HR processes for efficiency and capability. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to human resources. Provide regular reports to leadership on the success and impact of human resource initiatives. Utilize data-driven decision-making technics through employee surveys, feedback tools, and other data points to assess and improve HR programs and practices. Analyze employee feedback to design programs that enhance satisfaction, engagement, and retention. Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management. Lead HR initiatives that support business growth, culture, and employee engagement. Talent Acquisition and Development: Collaborate with work area leadership to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Identify and hire the right people into the right jobs at the right time for the right cost. Ensure continuous learning and career opportunities. Deliver training programs that help employees grow professionally and personally. Employee Relations Build successful relationships at all organizational levels to maintain an atmosphere of trust and respect. Act as an impartial advocate to ensure that all individuals receive fair and equitable treatment. Total Rewards: Design and implement compensation, benefit, and employee relations programs that enhance the employee experience. Maintain benefit programs. Study and assess benefit needs and trends; recommend benefit programs; direct the processing of benefit claims; design and conduct educational programs on benefit programs and process annual open enrollment. Lead and participate in annual renewal process. Oversight of bi-weekly payroll administration to include processing, time-and attendance recordkeeping, government compliance reporting, tax withholding/filings, deductions, remittances, staffing changes, day-to-day support. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure employment labor law compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal/state requirements (ERISA, COBRA, federal and WI wage and hour, IRS, OSHA, and other governing agencies). Communicate and execute any necessary changes. Conduct investigations in collaboration with legal counsel. Compile and prepare reporting, as required. Lead internal audits and investigations to mitigate organizational risk. Deliver proactive risk management strategies to reduce the frequency and severity of workplace injuries, thereby lowering insurance costs . Recommend HR policies and procedures including, but not limited to, the employee handbook, position profiles, and performance assessments. Safety Assurance: Support the Safety Assurance program playing a crucial role in promoting and maintaining a culture that prioritizes a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements

  • Education, training, and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or similar field with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on professional HR experience and supervision (preferably within an industrial environment).
  • Knowledge of wage/hour, ERISA, OSHA, IRS, and employment law.
  • An intermediate working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required.
  • as is experience working with HCMS platforms such as Sage or iSolved.
  • Must possess the ability to build positive team relationships and achieve outcome-oriented objectives; working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN Enterprise) with a holistic viewpoint; a bility to work in a fast-paced environment, and to work independently setting priorities and deadlines when completing duties.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification from HRCI and/or SHRM is strongly encouraged.
