About The Position

The HR Compliance Manager is responsible for leading the organization’s HR compliance efforts, ensuring the organization’s HR practices, procedures and policies comply with applicable labor laws and regulations. This role serves as the strategic leader for HR compliance initiatives, risk mitigation, and workforce regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage preparation of required federal and state employment reports, including: EEO‑1 VETS‑4212 CA Pay Data Reporting MA Pay Reporting (first‑time submissions)
  • Maintain state and federal posting and notification compliance across all US locations, including new and emerging mandates.
  • Develop, maintain and update annual Affirmative Action Plans for Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities under VEVRAA and Section 503.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring recruiting practices.
  • Monitor regulatory changes impacting affirmative action and employment compliance and implement updates policies, notices, vendors, and communications to maintain compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government contract compliance requirements, certifications, and related inquiries relating to labor and employment.
  • Maintain and manage an annual compliance calendar to track reporting requirements, key milestones, and filing deadlines.
  • Provide operational leadership and oversight for the Separation and Workplace Accommodations teams.
  • Partner cross functionally to improve documentation, workflows, and transparency through stakeholder feedback and process refinement.
  • Draft, edit, standardize, and maintain U.S., Canada and Costa Rica HR policies and employee/manager guidance to ensure alignment with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
  • Monitor changes to federal, state, and local employment laws and ensure HR policies and practices remain compliant.
  • Support the development and delivery of training, communications, and guidance related to EEO, Affirmative Action, and other employment compliance topics.
  • In partnership with legal, provide technical guidance and support to HR and managers on specialized compliance processes.
  • Serve as HR Business Continuity Planning Coordinator and HR lead for Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) related work streams and compliance initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to HR partners and leaders on employment compliance risks and best practices.
  • Responsible for management of compliance vendors, including vendors for Unemployment Insurance, Outplacement Services, US Work Authorization, AAPs and others.
