Summary: The Manager, GPO Analytics & Implementation leads the analytical and operational execution of Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) initiatives for healthcare provider organizations. This role is responsible for translating complex spend and contract data into actionable insights, supporting GPO transitions and implementations, and ensuring sustained value realization post–go-live. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in healthcare supply chain analytics, hands-on experience with GPO implementations, and the ability to partner effectively with finance, supply chain, and operational leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare supply chain, with direct exposure to GPO analytics and/or implementations.
  • Strong understanding of GPO contracting, pricing structures, and compliance concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with healthcare spend data and distributor or contract files.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI or visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working for a GPO, IDN, or healthcare advisory/consulting firm
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics tools and emerging technologies used to enhance healthcare supply chain insights preferred.
  • Experience advancing or automating manual data analytics processes, including the use of AI, scripting, or workflow optimization to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability preferred.
  • HealthTrust portfolio knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • GPO Analytics & Value Realization Conduct detailed spend and utilization analysis to identify savings opportunities across GPO contract portfolios
  • Evaluate pricing, compliance, and contract performance to support conversion and standardization initiatives
  • Develop savings estimates, business cases, and ROI analyses for GPO implementations and initiatives
  • Track post-implementation performance to validate savings and identify gaps or optimization opportunities
  • Prepare executive-ready reporting and dashboards to communicate findings and outcomes
  • GPO Implementation & Execution Support and/or lead GPO implementations, including planning, contract activation, pricing validation, and go-live coordination
  • Partner with distributors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve contract, pricing, and data issues
  • Ensure alignment between GPO contracts, distributor files, and internal systems
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients during implementation and early post-go-live phases
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies throughout the implementation lifecycle
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with provider supply chain, finance, and operational leaders to align analytics with strategic goals
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse stakeholder groups
  • Support client presentations, working sessions, and executive updates
  • Contribute to advisory discussions around cost discipline, contract governance, and supply chain strategy
  • Process Improvement & Team Leadership Establish repeatable analytics and implementation processes and documentation
  • Mentor analysts or junior team members, as applicable
  • Drive continuous improvement in data quality, tools, and methodologies
  • Support the development of implementation playbooks and best practices
