Manages the activities of all genetic counseling staff while assuming clinical duties that are within the scope of clinical practice for genetic counselors. Develops and implements strategies to maximize the productivity of the outpatient Genetic Counseling Clinic. Participates with genetics physician faculty in didactic teaching of medical students. Assists with select ongoing and future clinical quality improvement and other projects involving clinical genetics/genomics. Assures that compliance with all regulatory agencies, patient satisfaction and good public relations are achieved through the safe and efficient use of resources.
