About The Position

This US-based individual contributor role is a key member of the CSA FP&A team and plays a critical part in managing CSA’s financial performance. The FP&A Manager supports functional budget management across multiple functions and businesses, with a strong focus on SG&A consolidation, reporting, and performance review. The position partners closely with CSA functional leaders, Business Unit finance teams, and WHQ stakeholders to drive financial transparency, insight, and process improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years experience in Accounting or Finance, or Master’s Degree with 3+ years experience in Accounting or Finance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and HFM Smart View for Excel is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) at an advanced level. Power BI is a plus.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to extract, analyze, and interpret data to drive sound problem‑solving and decision‑making.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting and deliverables.
  • Proven interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, including clear and effective verbal and written communication, and the ability to collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
  • Highly self‑motivated and results‑driven, with a demonstrated commitment to accountability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates CSA finance team and functional leaders to support key functional (including, Digital, Finance, Legal, etc.) costs’ reporting deliverables such as long-range planning, the yearly operating plan, and cyclical forecasting.
  • Evaluates actual results and investigates variances to plan / prior year / prior estimates providing insight for CSA CFO/HQ FPA leader.
  • Prepares and leads the periodic report out to CSA functional leaders and drives improvements.
  • Analyzes and consolidates key reporting packages and supplemental schedules to support performance reviews, risk and opportunity evaluation, and other key processes
  • Partners with Carrier WHQ team and CSA Business Unit (BU) finance teams to improve & optimize functional cost related processes (including but not limited to periodic functional cost reporting, digital budget and actual spending tracking, cross BU/Segment budget transfer, SG&A analysis, etc.)
  • Serves as liaison between BU CFOs/Digital Technology (DT) business leaders, and WHQ DT leadership teams for the Digital function.
  • Consolidates segment actual DT results and align with CFOs on consolidated DT forecast.
  • Validates and approves the digital budget transfer (e.g. SOO) with WHQ.
  • Supports preparation of leadership presentations for the yearly operating plan, long-range plan, and quarterly business reviews, and serves as key lead on end-to-end SG&A consolidation, reporting and review.
  • Identifies and implements process and reporting improvements
  • Prepares ad hoc analysis and investigations where needed
