Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting or related field, plus two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Sr. Associate, Auditor or in a related position.
  • Experience must include Regulatory compliance and reporting (SEC filings and FASB codifications); SOX/internal controls; and advanced data tools Alteryx, Power Query, and Power Pivot.
  • Position also requires a CPA license.

Responsibilities

  • Review monthly consolidated financial statements.
  • Oversee the generation of primary monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; income statements; balance sheets; statements of equity; and statements of cash flow.
  • Gather financial information and resolve inconsistencies in collaboration with accounting, treasury, and operations departments.
  • Oversee preparation of detailed supporting work papers for 10-K, 10-Q, and other regulatory filings.
  • Oversee the preparation of checklists to ensure accuracy of all financial disclosures and compliance with the latest accounting standards.
  • Provide accurate financial data and analysis to the investor relations team for press releases and quarterly earnings calls.
  • Assist ongoing requests from internal and external auditors by providing necessary documents and explanations.
  • Oversee research into any government agency inquiries and explain with supporting documents.
  • Ensure financial integrity by applying a strong understanding of internal controls over financial reporting, strictly adhering to the separation of duties, and validating accuracy and completeness of system reports through reasonableness checks.
  • Review and update financial policies and procedures to ensure they remain current and effective
