As a Finance Manager, you'll work with an elite team of finance professionals, business leads and Strategy Partners who are writing the history of our organization and guiding our success as a global industry leader. That's a lot of responsibility, but you will have the support and resources of a Fortune 5 industry leader behind you every step of the way. This position is based in Eden Prairie, MN, New York, NY. If located outside of those areas the position will follow a hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week. Primary Responsibilities: Will play a critical role in supporting the Optum Finance team in planning, reporting, and presenting financial and operational data. The position will also work on key financial deliverables related to forecasting financial data and month end close responsibilities Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting process which will include working with Finance, Product, Operations and Tech partners to understand strategies, initiatives, priorities, cost drivers, benefits, and variances Develop tools, models, and processes to execute multiple planning and forecasting plans, providing critical financial and operational information to Business and Finance Leaders Prepare meaningful and decision enabling presentations to Sr. Management that clearly articulates key drivers and suggest action plans Will assist in developing the financial narratives and PPT presentations for month end close and recommendations that will be utilized for both internal and external constituents Performing ad-hoc analysis to enhance decisions and improve profitability Continually develop and refine process improvements to ensure accurate and timely analysis of financial and operational data You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
