The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Manufacturing Engineer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Providing support and leadership for the manufacture of market leading healthcare products in the medical device field. Identifying, Initiating, recommending, and leading projects to improve product cost, service, quality, process safety, and health/environmental impact. Performing and guiding technical and validation activities related to new product development and product line extensions. Leading problem-solving events to determine root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Monitoring and improving manufacturing operations using Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology (design of experiments, statistical process control, lean management system, kaizens, DMAIC) Working closely with production and quality teams to ensure quality of product produced meets or exceeds customer standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) and three (3) years of engineering experience in a manufacturing/production environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree or higher in a Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • Experience working in the medical device field.
  • Experience working in a GMP environment.
  • Demonstrated project leadership abilities on highly technical and complex projects.
  • Validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) experience.
