Department OverviewIn this role, the Field Operations Lead will supervise, coach, and evaluate Field Operations Consultants, ensuring their continuous skill development across Restaurant Department Management system. This role will be taking care of the field Business Unit of North Calorina and Virginia. DutiesIn addition, the Field Operations Lead will include the following:

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to keep several complex schedules aligned and organize.
  • Effective people leader that progresses Field Operations Consultant skill development paths.
  • Highly proficient in all technical aspects of the National Restaurant Building and Equipment Standards.
  • Capable of building trusting relationships with McDonald’s stakeholders, including Owner Operators.
  • Deep understanding of McDonald’s restaurant operations (i.e., all Restaurant Department Management systems)
  • Performs assessments with objectivity and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Restaurant experience strongly preferred.
  • FBP or Department Lead experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Works with Operations Officer to determine priorities and allocate Field Operations Consultants to mentor time to specific franchisees & Franchise Business Partners.
  • Trains and ensures skills / knowledge of assigned Field Operations Consultants.
  • Assigns areas of expertise to Field Operations Consultants based on coaching needs and Field Operations Consultant preferences and skill potentials.
  • Ensures all restaurants are consistently graded to McDonald’s standards and on schedule consistent with PACE guidelines.
  • Optimizes Field Operations Consultant to address Operations Officer’s direction / priorities while accounting for Field Operations Consultant capacities, areas of expertise, time off, restaurant schedules and events, etc.
  • Oversees National Restaurant Building and Equipment Standards evaluation process.
  • Protects the McDonald’s brand by working with the Field Operations Consultants to identify and address issues that may pose risks to customer experience, and ensures brand perceptions are addressed appropriately.
  • Develops a pipeline of Field Operations Consultants with potential for promotion.
  • Accountable to ensure standard methodologies and key takeaways are being shared across the Field through the Field Operations Consultant network.
  • Approves grading schedules and performance for Field Operations Consultants.
  • Accountable for the Field Operations Consultants progressions through skill development and certification plans.
  • Accountable for consistency and quality of Field Operations Consultant grading.
