About The Position

We’re looking for a Field Marketing Manager responsible for managing a Team responsible for developing and enhancing the Axis brand within industry and key customer segments and a specific geographic region.

Requirements

  • Position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a closely related field and 2 years of experience as a Communications or Marketing Manager.
  • Must also have 2 years of experience (which can have been gained concurrently with the primary experience requirement above) working with the following:
  • Customer relationship management (CRM) systems, specifically Salesforce.
  • Marketing automation and lead generation platforms, including Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), iCapture, Eventbrite, and Envoy.
  • Project management tools including SharePoint and Workday.
  • Developing and executing channel marketing strategies.
  • Managing and optimizing marketing budget.
  • Using Microsoft 365 and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
  • This position requires 50% domestic travel by air and car.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing and demand generation strategies, including events, campaigns, advertising, training, and channel programs to drive strategic business growth.
  • Align marketing initiatives with stakeholders and cross-functional teams across North America and global headquarters in Sweden.
  • Manage and optimize the annual marketing budget, including OPEX and CAPEX, to meet financial and business objectives while maximizing ROI.
  • Track and report marketing program ROI and key performance metrics to senior leadership, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders in Sales, Business Development, and Marketing to assess needs and drive impactful marketing solutions.
  • Direct, mentor, and develop the team, including Field Marketing Coordinators, Experience Center Coordinators, Technical Trainers, and Marketing Interns across multiple US offices.
  • Act as a liaison for the business area and regional publications and advertising campaigns.
  • Oversee marketing automation processes and analyze performance trends to enhance the effectiveness of campaigns and maintain brand alignment.
  • Drive performance through clear communication of responsibilities and expectations, fostering a high-performing, growth-oriented team culture.
  • Lead recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of team members to support both business goals and individual development.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.
  • Leverage data and marketing tools for planning, automation, and reporting, ensuring a data-driven approach to strategy and execution.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices through continued learning, networking, and active participation in professional communities.
