This role is designed to provide critical back-office leadership, enabling the VP and Senior Director of State Government Affairs to concentrate on high-level engagement and strategic initiatives. The Manager will serve as the operational anchor of the team, responsible for: • Legislative and Regulatory Tracking: Monitoring and analyzing state legislation and regulatory developments, ensuring timely and accurate updates to inform advocacy strategy. • Grassroots Engagement: Managing and executing employee grassroots mobilization efforts around key state policy issues, including coordination of internal communications and engagement platforms. • Policy Communications Support: Assisting in the development of policy messaging, drafting position letters, briefing materials, and other written content to support advocacy efforts. • Event and Meeting Planning: Leading the planning and execution of all State Government Affairs events, including the Annual Division Legislative Days and issue-specific legislative or lobby events throughout the year.
