About The Position

Essential Job Functions: • Lead the Finance workstream for D365 F&O projects, covering requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment. • Translate business processes into functional specifications and ensure alignment with standard D365 Finance capabilities. • Configure and support core Finance modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budgeting, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, and Financial Reporting. • Facilitate design workshops, fit-gap analysis sessions, and end-user discussions to validate requirements and propose solutions. • Coordinate with technical teams for customizations, integrations, and reporting needs, providing guidance on functional impacts. • Prepare functional design documents, configuration guides, test scripts, and training materials. • Support SIT, UAT, cutover planning, and production go-live activities. • Perform data validation, mapping, and reconciliation activities for Finance-related data migration. • Provide expert support for post-go-live stabilization, troubleshooting functional issues, and recommending process improvements. • Ensure compliance with financial controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards. • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the project team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong functional experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance or AX, with hands-on involvement in at least 2–3 full implementation cycles.
  • Deep knowledge of Finance business processes and how they map to D365 F&O capabilities.
  • Experience preparing functional design documents and supporting technical design discussions.
  • Solid understanding of reporting tools (Financial Reporter, Electronic Reporting, Power BI) and basic Finance data structures.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and explain technical concepts in business terms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, technical consultants, and business stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft certifications (MB-310, MB-300) are preferred.
  • Experience in multi-country or multi-entity financial implementations is an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure during cutover and go-live cycles.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and global accounting standards is a plus.
