The Manager, Employer Brand – Gaylord Hotels is responsible for bringing Gaylord’s distinct associate story to life through compelling, candidate-centric employer branding and recruitment marketing. This role focuses on activating the employer brand in support of Gaylord’s unique hiring needs, highlighting the energy, pride, and opportunity that define the Gaylord associate experience. As a strategic executor and creative partner, you will translate Gaylord specific employer brand positioning into high impact campaigns, content, and tools that resonate with frontline and professional talent alike. You will work closely with Marriott’s Director of People Brand Strategy, Gaylord Talent Acquisition leaders, property teams, and agency partners to ensure our story feels bold, welcoming, and unmistakably Gaylord.

Requirements

  • Are passionate about employer branding and recruitment marketing, particularly for frontline and hospitality talent.
  • Understand how brand storytelling supports large-scale hiring and operational needs.
  • Bring a candidate-first mindset and a strong sense of empathy to your work.
  • Can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have expertise in creating employer brand and recruitment marketing content using graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) to support property level and regional talent initiatives.
  • Have a keen eye for design, strong attention to detail and consistently apply visual identity guidelines to ensure brand consistency across all content
  • Are collaborative, organized, and comfortable working across multiple properties and partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing, or related marketing roles.
  • Strong understanding of employer brand and recruitment marketing principles.
  • Ability to translate EVP and brand strategy into Gaylord-specific, market ready execution.
  • Experience supporting digital, social, and campaign-based recruitment marketing initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of design and content tools used for marketing production; familiarity with professional design software is a plus.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Activate and execute Gaylord’s specific employer brand and recruitment marketing strategies aligned to the brand’s unique EVP.
  • Partner closely with Gaylord Talent Acquisition and People leaders to translate hiring priorities into relevant campaigns, messaging, and candidate experiences.
  • Support largescale, property level hiring initiatives while maintaining enterprise brand consistency.
  • Ensure employer brand messaging reflects the scale, energy, and career opportunity associated with Gaylord Hotels.
  • Develop clear, client-ready presentations that communicate Gaylord employer brand strategy, campaign plans, and performance results.
  • Collaborate with internal creative partners and external agencies to develop employer brand and recruitment marketing assets across digital, social, on property, and experiential channels.
  • Support Gaylord specific careers content and landing pages, ensuring messaging is clear, engaging, and relevant to frontline and leadership talent.
  • Execute light design and production work independently, including layout adjustments, image selection, and formatting, to enable timely delivery of assets.
  • Customize and adapt approved employer brand templates using design tools (e.g., Canva) to support property and regional needs.
  • Apply visual identity and brand guidelines consistently to maintain quality and cohesion across all materials.
  • Serve as a trusted employer brand partner to Gaylord Talent Acquisition, HR, and property teams.
  • Provide guidance and best practices on employer brand usage, recruitment marketing, and candidate communications.
  • Support communications to property leadership and key stakeholders related to Gaylord employer brand initiatives.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, solution-oriented working environment across a matrixed organization.
  • Track and analyze employer brand and recruitment marketing performance for Gaylord specific initiatives.
  • Translate insights into clear recommendations to optimize creative, channels, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Stay informed on employer branding and hospitality hiring trends to continuously evolve Gaylord’s approach to talent attraction.
