This position impacts the success of the organization by implementing, monitoring, and supporting solid safety strategies that allow all employees to work safely, efficiently and with the authority to stop work if unsafe to proceed. The EHS Manager will assist TAS Environmental and Specialized Waste Systems Employees, Supervisors, Safety Champions, and Leadership to continually improve the company Safety Culture, strengthen Risk Management, plus implement successful Industry Best Practices. The EHS Manager may be asked to help develop or implement EHS Safety Programs, Engineering Controls, Employee Training, Behavior Based Safety Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and more as needed. The EHS Manager will ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and client requirements, plus help identify changes in the scope of work or equipment, to eliminate occupational hazards at jobsites, or at work facilities. The EHS Manager will develop corrective actions, update administrative controls, ensure project personnel are adequately trained in Emergency Response Plan Procedures, ensuring that all incidents, safety emergencies, or employee injuries are properly managed.
