The Samsung direct-to-consumer ecommerce team is looking for a Manager of SCM to drive both short term and long term Demand and Supply planning for Mobile Experience business. This candidate will play a critical role and responsible to manage weekly/monthly/quarterly sales forecast with high accuracy and develop supply plan (Sellout and Sellin AP1 and AP2) based on Ecommerce sales drivers, promotional analysis and using category specific business knowledge. He/she will also be responsible to manage overall SCM including S&OP confirmation, aging, inventory management, backorders, buy box management, and manage weekly/monthly execution to achieve revenue targets. The individual is expected to be hands-on to prepare Sales forecasting, sku level sellout and selling forecast, using Ecommerce sales drivers (Traffic, conversion rate), and promotions, build supply plan and manage PSI (Production, Sales and Inventory). He/She will closely work with category managers to develop the forecasts and build supply plan and work with business planning team to plan/manage monthly target plans. The candidate also leads the communication with Central SCM and BizOps to secure supply by confirming production plans and to manage inventory. The Manager is responsible to achieve target forecast accuracy, ensuring supply for monthly revenue target and maintain optimal inventory. A successful candidate is highly analytical with critical thinking skills and business savvy, be adaptive and able to work cross functionally to influence sales and operations teams working towards a common goal in a highly matrixed, fast pacing organization.
