CLA is growing and seeking to hire a Manager/Director – Cost Segregation to join our talented Federal Tax Strategies (FTS) team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment. In this position you should have the following: excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. How you’ll create opportunities in the FTS Manager/Director role: Manage cost segregation and fixed asset studies including client consultations, analysis, data gathering and coordination for various industries, including Manufacturing, Technology, and Life Sciences. Collaborate with principals, including industry leaders and other marketing and business personnel throughout the Firm. Assist with managing client engagement staffing, billing, and ensuring client profitability targets are met. Mentor associates and other team members on their inspired career. Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
  • 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with public accounting and/or professional services firm.
  • CPA required (EA or JD may be accepted in lieu of CPA certification)

Responsibilities

  • Manage cost segregation and fixed asset studies including client consultations, analysis, data gathering and coordination for various industries, including Manufacturing, Technology, and Life Sciences.
  • Collaborate with principals, including industry leaders and other marketing and business personnel throughout the Firm.
  • Assist with managing client engagement staffing, billing, and ensuring client profitability targets are met.
  • Mentor associates and other team members on their inspired career.
  • Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the community.
