Engineering & Property Services is recruiting for a Manager, Digital Process Design (DPD), located in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Cork, Ireland & Beerse, Belgium. The Digital Process Design (DPD) Manager is accountable for the end-to-end design, performance, and digital enablement of assigned E&PS business processes. This role ensures processes are fit-for-purpose, data-driven, and AI-enabled, with clearly defined data capture standards, automation opportunities, and continuous improvement mechanisms. The DPD Manager acts as the liaison between business operations, digital product teams, and data/AI capabilities, ensuring process outcomes, data quality, and technology solutions are tightly aligned!

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent university degree in Engineering, Data, Business, Digital, or similar.
  • 6-8 years of proven track record in Business process ownership or operational leadership and Digital transformation or data-enabled programs.
  • Validated ownership of end-to-end business processes (design → implement → measure → innovate), including process mapping, controls, indicators, and continuous improvement.
  • Data-first mentality: define “data at source,” act as process-side owner of critical data elements and embed data-quality controls into workflows.
  • Experience partnering with Data Science/Analytics and Digital/Product teams to identify/prioritize AI/analytics use cases and translate business needs into implementable requirements.
  • Technical fluency with SQL and data concepts.
  • Hands-on familiarity with process-mapping tools (Visio/Lucidchart/BPMN) and BI tools for measurement.
  • Practical experience defining automation opportunities (RPA, workflows, system integrations) and working with product/engineering to operationalize them.
  • Strong customer management, change leadership, and clear interpersonal skills; accountable for measurable process outcomes.
  • Proficiency (oral & written) in the English language.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's or equivalent degree in Engineering, Data, Business, Digital, or similar.
  • Experience in Engineering, Facilities, Manufacturing, or asset-intensive environments.
  • Hands-on analytics/ML experience (prototyping in Python/R, model validation, operationalization).
  • Experience with cloud data platforms and data governance (e.g., Snowflake/Databricks) and modern BI tooling (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Direct experience with RPA/orchestration platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere) and IoT/predictive maintenance for physical assets.
  • Demonstrated ability in engineering, facilities/asset management, construction, or regulated/safety-critical environments.
  • Proven track record to scale processes and digital solutions across multiple sites/regions and influence in large, cross-functional organizations.
  • Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), PMP, CBPP, or CDMP.

Responsibilities

  • Co-Own assigned E&PS business processes across their full lifecycle (design → implement → measure → innovate).
  • Support and guide functional teams on their business processes, end-to-end. (design → implement → measure → innovate).
  • Define and co-maintain process maps, controls, indicators, and success metrics.
  • Lead process re-engineering initiatives, including simplification, standardization, and automation.
  • Ensure processes are designed to be digital-first and AI-ready, not retrofitted.
  • Define “data at source” requirements within business processes.
  • Partner with Data Stewardship to ensure clear data definitions and standards, consistent data capture methods and high data quality with respect to completeness and timeliness
  • Embed data quality controls directly into workflows and systems.
  • Act as the process-side owner of critical data elements associated with the process.
  • Identify and prioritize AI use cases within owned processes (e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, workflow optimization).
  • Collaborate with Data Science, Analytics, and Digital Product teams to translate business needs into AI/analytics requirements, validate AI outputs against real-world process performance, and ensure AI solutions are operationalized, trusted, and embraced by users.
  • Work with Digital Product Owners to ensure technology solutions enable standardized data capture, scale across sites and regions, and integrate cleanly into the E&PS data ecosystem
  • Serve as the single accountable owner for process performance.
