About The Position

We are seeking a strategic and analytical leader to join Firehouse Subs as Manager of Development for US & Canada. This role is critical in driving the Brand’s expansion by managing the pipeline of new restaurant openings, closures, and renewals, while ensuring NRG compliance. This position serves as a key execution partner across multiple high-impact Development workstreams, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and disciplined execution of development initiatives that support sustained Brand growth. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and the capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Candidates should demonstrate high integrity, a strong sense of ownership, and coachability, along with a passion for supporting the success of the Brand, the team, and their own professional growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, Legal Studies, or other related disciplines
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience, project management experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skillset with ability to transform data into action plans
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrates strong business acumen to maintain and grow relationships with franchisees, brokers, and developers
  • Ability to prepare and present development updates to senior leadership
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office core product suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Manage internal development end-to-end process for all Development workstreams, including Openings, Renewals, and Closures
  • Works cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to execute Development plans, including Franchising, Real Estate, Construction, Operations and Global Business Services
  • Owns franchise contract management and execution
  • Ensure pipeline organization, quality control, and data integrity by maintaining accurate records, reconciling documentation, and ensuring reliable system data for reporting and decision-making
  • Implement process improvements and standardization to create more efficient workstreams across Development team, including identifying bottlenecks, recommending improvements, and incorporating best practices
  • Build and foster trusted relationships with franchisees, guiding them through requirements while safeguarding brand standards
