About The Position

Equinox is looking for a strategic, data-driven, resourceful, and collaborative member to join our team as Manager / Senior Manager, Customer Insights & Promotions. This role will own the: End-to-end insights process, by establishing brand tracking systems, member and non-member surveys, translating data into actionable strategies, collaborating cross-functionally to integrate insights into decision-making, and serving as a strategic thought partner to the leadership — to champion the voice of the member across the organization Promotional strategy and execution, by supporting ideation sessions, structuring leadership decision-making discussions, ensuring alignment across teams, project managing execution across Marketing, Operations, Tech, Business Intelligence, and Sales, and incorporating performance measurement into future planning Reporting to the Director, Customer Insights & Brand Health, you’ll play a critical role in shaping decisions through actionable insights and elevating brand visibility and value through high-impact partner initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in consumer insights and marketing strategy, ideally within a premium consumer or lifestyle brand
  • Strong proficiency in analytics, customer research methodologies (focus groups, surveys, psychographics), segmentation, brand health tracking, and research vendor management
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional project execution, coordinating across different teams to ensure initiatives and strategies are delivered on time
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize data into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations that influence business decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong critical thinker and problem solver who excels at assessing complex challenges, identifying patterns, and developing solutions in ambiguous situations
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments with strong project management and organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for brand-building, cultural trends, and understanding consumer behavior, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for being part of a growing luxury lifestyle brand

Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end member and non-member insights process — from defining research needs through primary, secondary, and syndicated data, to synthesizing findings and delivering clear recommendations that influence brand and campaign decisions
  • Support the development and execution of marketing strategies (including promotional campaigns) grounded in member insights, behaviors, and preferences to deepen engagement and drive business growth
  • Work with external vendor to maintain brand tracking systems and feedback mechanisms to monitor brand health, campaign impact, and club-level performance, and build automated visualizations to cater to different levels of the organization
  • Monitor and report on the performance of campaigns and member marketing initiatives, optimizing based on results and feedback
  • Partner cross-functionally (e.g., Growth, Creative, BI, Ops, BI, Sales) to gather hypothesis, bring forward a holistic understanding of the member experience, and ensure insights are integrated into strategic decisions and operational execution
  • Support promotional ideation sessions, structure leadership decision-making discussions, ensure alignment across teams, and project manage execution of promotional campaigns across teams
  • Serve as a strategic sound partner to senior leaders, acting as the internal champion for the voice of the member
