About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to lead promotional tracking, reporting, and performance analysis across retail and e-commerce channels, providing actionable insights that directly impact revenue, margin, and profitability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Demand Planning to ensure promotions are planned, executed, and measured effectively. The position requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools, and the ability to translate complex datasets into clear recommendations. You will monitor competitor activity, optimize promotional strategies, and contribute to forecasting and financial planning. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on data-driven decision-making, enjoys collaborating across functions, and wants high visibility in shaping promotional strategy. Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of experience in sales analytics, retail analytics, or promotions.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and BI tools (pivots, formulas, data modeling).
  • Experience working with weekly sales, POS, or promotional data.
  • Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate insights clearly and effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, or DTC channels.
  • Background in consumer electronics, consumer hardware, or CPG industries.
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms.
  • Knowledge of forecasting, margin, inventory concepts, or pricing/competitive intelligence tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the promotional calendar across retail and e-commerce channels, ensuring alignment with revenue, margin, and profitability objectives.
  • Track promotion details including dates, pricing, discounts, and funding to maintain accurate records.
  • Produce weekly sales and promotional performance reports, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Analyze promotional effectiveness, including lift vs baseline, ROI, and margin impact.
  • Monitor and report competitor promotional activity to inform strategy and optimize campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Sales on forecasting, accruals, and actuals to support accurate planning.
  • Build, improve, and automate reports using Excel and BI tools to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
