Our success is driven by dedicated team members who are passionate about delivering exceptional experiences, embracing innovation, and helping shape the future of entertainment.  JOB SUMMARYThe Drop/Count Manager is responsible for overseeing all drop and count operations within the gaming facility, ensuring the secure, accurate, and timely collection, transportation, counting, reconciliation, and reporting of gaming revenue. This position provides leadership to the drop and count team while maintaining strict compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls, and company policies. The Drop/Count Manager works closely with Cage, Surveillance, Security, and Finance to ensure operational integrity and accurate financial reporting.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following duties are representative of this role and are not intended to be all-inclusive.   • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in drop and count operations, cage operations, or gaming/casino finance required
  • Experience with cash handling, reconciliation, and internal controls required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
  • The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, speak, hear, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds, including cash boxes, drop boxes, and related materials.

Nice To Haves

  • College coursework in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
  • Supervisory experience in a gaming or financial operations environment strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily drop and count operations to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance with internal controls and gaming regulations.
  • Oversee the collection, transport, counting, verification, and reconciliation of cash and gaming revenue.
  • Manage count room operations, ensuring proper dual custody, access control, and adherence to security procedures.
  • Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate drop and count team members.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all drop and count documentation and reconciliation reports.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with all applicable gaming regulations, internal controls, and audit standards.
  • Partner with Surveillance and Security to maintain chain-of-custody integrity and prevent discrepancies or theft.
  • Investigate and resolve variances, discrepancies, or operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and oversee inventory of cash boxes, drop boxes, and count room supplies.
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of count equipment and related technology.
  • Prepare, review, and submit daily revenue and variance reports to Finance leadership.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and operational explanations as required.
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to maintain performance and compliance standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial and operational information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
