Engaging in content management, content strategy, and content business development, the Content Management team is tasked with proactively managing Disney’s portfolio/inventory on a global basis – primarily with respect to distribution, productions and acquisitions – and delivering continuous and accurate programming and rights information to the Content Sales and Direct to Consumer (DTC) teams in those efforts. The Manager, Content Management will serve as a subject matter expert on content across multiple divisions of The Walt Disney Company (“TWDC”), including but not limited to Walt Disney Studios, Twentieth Century Studios, Searchlight, ABC News, Freeform, 20th Television, FX, and National Geographic, as well as additional content produced, acquired, or distributed by TWDC. In this capacity, the Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—such as distribution, sales, marketing, legal, and finance—to ensure seamless coordination and strategic alignment. The role will involve leading efforts to support the placement, distribution, and sale of content, driving business objectives while fostering strong partnerships across internal and external stakeholders.
