About The Position

Mission Measurement (MM) is the world leader in measuring social outcomes, helping federal, state, and local governments define, analyze, and improve grant investments in education, housing, public health, and workforce development. At the core of their work is the Impact Genome Registry, a database with outcomes and cost benchmarks from over 2.2 million social programs, which MM implements with government agencies to track results, identify effective strategies, and ensure tax dollars have the greatest impact. The company's ultimate goal is to maximize the impact of every dollar spent on social change. Mission Measurement is seeking a highly capable and entrepreneurial Consulting Manager to support public-sector clients in transitioning to outcomes-focused, evidence-informed approaches to social impact and grantmaking. The ideal candidate will possess strong consulting experience, comfort operating in complex public-sector environments, experience in change management and/or technology implementation, and the ability to translate analytical insights into practical actions. Managers will lead client engagements day-to-day, develop strategic recommendations, and guide clients through the organizational and operational changes necessary for adopting new ways of working. As part of a small and growing team, Managers will assume significant responsibility and have direct exposure to senior leadership and clients. This role is primarily remote, with plans to transition to a hybrid or in-office model by 2026. Candidates should be located near Washington D.C. or Chicago and must be willing to travel occasionally (approximately once per month).
