Our Commercial Claims department has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate these WCF Insurance values to join their team as a Manager, Commercial Auto Claims. This is a full-time, exempt, hybrid position that works out of WCF's Sandy, Utah headquarters. This posting is open to internal and external candidates. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates outside of Utah.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent insurance industry designation(s) preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial auto claims, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of auto coverage, liability, and injury claims, including litigation management.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive results in a fast-scaling environment.
  • Experience in process improvement, data analysis, and KPI tracking.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all commercial auto claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Provide technical guidance on complex and high-exposure auto claims.
  • Supervise daily operations of the Auto Claims team, including adjusters and associates, ensuring productivity and quality standards.
  • Develop and refine claims handling processes to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency, while maintaining training programs that support career progression into adjuster roles.
  • Monitor team performance; provide regular feedback, coaching, and career development opportunities.
  • Oversee handling of low-complexity claims and provide technical guidance on complex and high-exposure auto claims.
  • Track and analyze KPIs to drive continuous improvement in claims outcomes.
  • Oversee litigation strategy and settlement negotiations for auto claims.
  • Lead special projects and initiatives to enhance workflow, processes, and customer experience.
