Your Role: We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented commercial auto claim adjusters to join our dynamic team. Candidates must be available to work claims primarily aligned with the Pacific Time Zone. At least 85% of the caseload will be originate from this region. Our operational hours are 7 days a week from 5:30am-7:30pm (Pacific Time) including holidays. There is a need for flexibility to be scheduled a shift with an 7:30pm ending time (Pacific Time), however, you should be available to work 40 hours a week within operational hours. You will have one weekend day off and one weekday off. Days off are typically consecutive however we do not guarantee consecutive days off and most shifts include at least 1 weekend day. Schedules assigned can fluctuate with our business needs. Virtual, on-camera training: Our paid training program is scheduled to begin on Monday, February 2, 2026. Training schedule: Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Pacific Time.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of one year of customer service experience in a virtual environment leveraging internet, phone, and chat features.
  • Must hold an Adjuster licensed for all applicable states or obtain license(s) within 90 days of completing the provided licensing training.
  • Basic math and moderate computer skills with technical aptitude to utilize a variety of software applications.
  • Must meet work from home requirements including internet speeds and designated workspace.
  • Ability to type 30 wpm.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Two or more years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Prior insurance claims experience also preferred.
  • Bilingual a plus!
  • Auto physical damage training and/or I-CAR or SCLA enrollment preferred.
  • Strong Customer Service skills for both internal/external customers.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Active contributor to team success.

Responsibilities

  • Contacts insureds, claimants, and other involved parties to confirm loss details and applicable policy coverage.
  • Explains claims process, next steps, and outcomes to involved parties.
  • Is the primary point of contact for auto physical damage questions.
  • Investigates, evaluates, negotiates, and settles first- and third-party auto/property damage claims from start to finish.
  • Takes inbound calls from customers and maintains an inventory of pending claims.
  • Conducts coverage and liability investigations.
  • Advises customers of available benefits, coverages, and liability outcomes.
  • Coordinates and oversees the claims process; keeping customers informed.
  • Negotiates estimating damages and supplements.
  • Validates reparability and monitors repairs.
  • Arranges towing, storage, and rental vehicles as needed.
  • Addresses subrogation and total loss responsibilities.
  • Ensures the insurance program agreements and Claim Service Level agreements between external clients and Mobilitas Insurance are adhered to.
  • Ensures compliance that specific state regulations and/or policy provisions is completed with needed file documentation and appropriate correspondence.
  • Supports other areas of claims as needed.
  • Actively shapes our company culture (e.g., participating in employee resource groups, volunteering, etc.).
  • Lives into cultural norms (e.g., willing to have cameras when it matters: helping onboard new team members, building relationships, etc.).
  • Travels as needed for role, including divisional / team meetings and other in-person meetings.
  • Fulfills business needs, which may include investing extra time, helping other teams, etc.
