This position oversees the centralized collections process for US and Canada businesses, involving a team, dunning notices, automatic dialers, and significant branch interaction. Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years experience in Credit & Collection required
  • Strong Computer Skills – Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets experience required
  • Experience managing collection function and working cross-functionally
  • Understanding of credit reporting systems (e.g., Dun & Bradstreet/Equifax)
  • Experience with credit worthiness assessment, credit line assignment
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communications
  • Able to work independently in a Challenging Environment
  • Coach, develop, manage and motivate colleagues
  • Calm, organized and optimistic in a dynamic work environment
  • Manage and make sense of large volumes of data to understand trends and identify opportunities
  • Manage key milestones to achieve organizational commitments and results

  • BS/BA in accounting/finance or equivalent experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous managerial/leadership experience; medium to large team experience preferred
  • Prior experience with pest control industry a plus

Responsibilities

  • Recommend and oversee development of action plans to address collection issues
  • Design and lead implementation of processes and other improvement measures for Collections operations
  • Establish and implement new solutions based on detailed analysis and validation of processes
  • Set KPIs and manage team to target goals
  • Provide KPI’s update weekly for each team to Senior Leadership
  • Publish internal monthly reports summarizing results to operational management in a timely manner and in a useful format to aid in understanding of A/R status.
  • Team Building Skills – able to manage a Collection team efficiently
  • Develop training strategy and materials for Collections team
  • Provide innovative solutions for automation in information processes
  • Facilitate Weekly Meetings and Annual Meetings
