The Collections Operations Manager manages one or more teams within the Collections Division. This person will have multiple direct reports spanning one or more functions / processes in the division. Depending on the processes / functions under management, can be up to a member of the Collections Senior Staff, reporting to the Director / Senior Director of Collections. Strong job knowledge across all processes under management. Effective in management, execution of processes / functions, while identifying and addressing risks associated with responsibilities under management. Manages team effectively and provides direction to the roles, responsibilities across the team. Maintains communication with peers and management across the division, Ops and the Bank as a whole. Strong technical skills supporting processes / functions under management. Leads by example in expanding technical skills. Builds strong teams and works to set strategic direction for functions under management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Business, Accounting or equivalent field. - Required.
  • 5+ Years Experience in collections management with responsibility for managing large teams through direct reports. - Required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Broad knowledge of technical skills and programs with the ability to operate within them.
  • Leads through change and adapts to new ways of working, new technologies, automation, process streamlining etc.
  • Can operate effectively in a fast paced, changing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products.
