About The Position

Develops, implements, and supports the value analysis program in the areas of new clinical products and/or minor equipment. Manages the introduction and evaluation of new clinical products and/or minor equipment, engaging stakeholders from clinical service lines, business leaders, and other impacted disciplines. Identifies opportunities and delivers customer satisfaction through identification, measurement and improvement of value analysis planning and processes.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in supply chain, healthcare, nursing, or comparable industry management
  • Seven (7) years of related experience in a hospital/clinical setting, including effective working experiences with physicians and managers/administrators and experience performing analysis of financial and operational data required
  • Seven plus years with Nursing or Physician experience is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or Multi-State through Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact
  • Extensive Clinical product knowledge
  • Proven success-building and leading high-performance teams that deliver superior customer service by achieving desired results within specified timelines
  • Self-motivated high achiever with proven ability to manage multiple, strategically critical projects and timelines
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to build and motivate teams, influence decisions, and lead change
  • Effective communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation
  • Proficient in analysis techniques and tools to deliver meaningful reports that enable accurate budget planning, decision support, cost efficiencies, and performance management job

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and lead sustainable clinical value analysis program across all clinical service lines for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
  • Establish an evidence-based and data driven value analysis process for introduction of new products, technology, and service for clinical service lines. Being industry best practices for value analysis program.
  • Effectively manage value analysis technology platform to build seamless process for new product requests management and develop metrics to monitor process performance.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational and physician leaders to develop robust framework and evaluation methodology to facilitate new product introduction.
  • Collaborate with physicians to provide interactive model and proactively bring physicians into the product selection process, cost benefit, and clinical outcome discussions.
  • Gain stakeholder support on sourcing and new product initiatives by providing detailed value analysis inclusive of clinical outcomes, financial data, and operational impact.
  • Facilitate product demonstrations and oversee the product evaluation process.
  • Monitor outcomes and provide summary reports to appropriate committee and stakeholders to facilitate decision making.
  • Partner with strategic sourcing managers to model financial impacts of proposed changes.
  • Communicate any material impacts to appropriate Financial Operations Manager and/or leader accountable for operations budgets impacted by value analysis projects.
  • Develop effective change management process for clinical product and service changes by collaborating with operations and clinical stakeholder. This includes developing and managing product conversion process, working with PMO to develop communication and plan training with clinical educators.
  • Work with cross functional teams – sourcing, procurement, and operations to mitigate product availability issues by researching and recommending clinically equivalent product to facilitate supply chain resiliency.
  • Work closely with Strategic Sourcing to manage vendor performance and develop strategic relationships.
  • Serve as supply chain point of contact for Join Commission Inquiries, product safety concerns and recall issues.
  • Responsible for all aspects of managing and leading a team including interviewing, hiring, training, developing, directing work and processes, managing performance, recognizing, and rewarding employees.
  • Mentor team members to encourage personal and professional growth. Encourage ongoing skill development by providing opportunities for continued education.
