Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development, review, revision, and roll out of clinical policies and procedures and/or education materials; including training and monitoring the implementation of clinical P&P in the facility 20%
  • Participates with the Regional Director and Facility Administrator in the proactive identification and development of facility specific education and outcome goals, including implementation and monitoring of the goals to achieve desired results 20%
  • Coordinates the review and investigation of risk events and participates in the plan of correction and follow-up requested. This includes participating in the QA/QI meetings regularly to ensure areas for improvement are proactively addressed 20%
  • Performs facility audits as indicated or scheduled and provide support to the Facility Administrators and Regional Directors, including education of deficiencies in developing a plan of correction and resolution of deficiencies 20%
  • Ascertains specific training needs in the division/region and implement a plan to address these needs, which may include providing continuing education and in-services/materials to teammates and patients to improve knowledge base and meet regulatory and safety requirements, on an as needed basis
