Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Emplify Health is seeking an experienced Manager, Clinical & Business Systems to join our team! The Manager of Clinical and Business Applications will be instrumental in advancing innovation, ensuring high-quality outcomes, and steering the development of applications that enhance organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate will excel in managing relationships between business operations and information technology, possess experience working collaboratively with Agile teams, and demonstrate a strong ability to mentor and develop high-performing professionals. This position provides direct oversight of approximately 15 Application Analysts and is responsible for strategic direction, resource coordination, and strong partnership with business leaders. The Manager will ensure technology initiatives align with operational goals while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement and financial stewardship. Epic billing systems—Resolute Professional Billing and Hospital Billing—are central to this role, supporting both professional and hospital revenue cycles. Professional billing workflows are complex and include provider‑based billing (with required patient notifications), specialty‑specific workflows (e.g., surgeon billing decisions and placeholder charges), and discount application processes. These functions require specialized expertise and familiarity with bundled episodes, discount billing, case rates, global billing, and inpatient professional charging. What's Available: 1.0 FTE Schedule: Monday-Friday Days Location: Remote eligible position for residents of WI, MN, and IA. However, would require willingness to work onsite as needed for business needs. Occasional travel to the Green Bay, WI area throughout the year as well. Organizational Leadership -- Provides leadership and accomplishes objectives by ensuring the integration of processes and initiatives while modeling collaboration. Participates and supports in brand/service delivery teams as requested. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 3-4 years' education and experience
  • 3-4 years of experience in clinical and business system implementation support or health information management.
  • Passion for service excellence and continuous improvement
  • Strong leadership and team building capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of analysts to develop and implement strategic and operational plans for clinical systems, ensuring alignment with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a motivated, high-performing team through effective leadership and engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal departments and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and alignment on key initiatives.
  • Leverage business engagement to understand and anticipate organizational needs, exercising business acumen, and creativity to shape demand effectively.
  • Enable product and service managers to gain deeper insights into diverse business and geographical requirements, facilitating tailored solutions.
  • Communicate clinical products and services clearly to business constituents and fusion teams to ensure alignment and adoption.
  • Applicable technology competency completed within six months of hire for technology supported.
  • Champion innovation by researching and applying new methodologies, tools, and technologies to enhance learning and system performance.
  • Ensure team awareness and focus on strategic priorities to maximize impact and resource utilization.
  • Oversee financial management by achieving budget targets, analyzing financial data, and implementing cost-efficient solutions.
  • Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers, including contract negotiations, service agreement oversight, and prompt issue resolution.

  • Track and report on key performance indicators to evaluate the success of initiatives and stakeholder satisfaction.
