About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Manager, Business Operations, to join our Business Operations function. The Manager, Business Operations is an execution focused role within a newly created Business Operations function. Reporting to the Senior Director, Business Operations, this role will be part of a small, high-impact team with a mandate to ensure the company delivers on its strategic plan. In this role, the Manager will help get financial and operational data into the right locations in the company’s systems, implement scalable operating processes such as recurring business reviews, and build automated dashboards and reporting. The Manager will have significant responsibility and own meaningful projects while working cross-functionally with people across the company. This is a demanding role in a results-oriented environment with high expectations for agency, speed, and ownership. This role requires systems-level thinking, the ability to design what needs to exist to achieve specific goals, and the ability to drive results in an environment where structure is still being built. This role does not initially have direct reports but may take on people management responsibilities over time, based on business needs and individual interest.

Requirements

  • Experience in business operations, finance, consulting, analytics, project/program management, or another demanding, high-expectations corporate environment where individuals own complex workstreams end to end
  • Exceptional work ethic with the ability to operate effectively in a demanding, results-driven environment with high standards
  • Demonstrated ability to take high-level direction and execute complex projects end to end while working cross-functionally with multiple teams
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting with data visualization tools (Power BI etc.)
  • Experience working with financial and operational data
  • Proven ability to build and improve processes
  • Strong sense of ownership paired with a collaborative working style
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and skills quickly and apply them effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to use LLMs and automation tools effectively
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and enthusiasm for helping build a new function and operating model
  • Solid knowledge of accounting and corporate finance concepts

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Power Query
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting in Power BI
  • Experience supporting or owning performance management, monthly/quarterly business reviews

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Business Operations teammates and functional partners to ensure financial and operational data is accurate, consistent, and maintained in the appropriate systems and locations
  • Collect, organize, validate, and maintain operational and performance data, proactively identifying and resolving data gaps or quality issues
  • Build and maintain standardized dashboards and recurring reports that provide clear visibility into performance
  • Ensure reporting is delivered in the right format, level of detail, and cadence to support operating reviews and leadership decision-making
  • Collaborate with teammates to interpret data and surface clear, actionable insights for leaders
  • Work closely with the Business Operations team and functional partners to support and continuously improve the company’s operating cadence (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
  • Own preparation of data, dashboards, and materials for specific operating rhythms, while aligning closely with stakeholders on inputs and outputs
  • Track priorities, action items, timelines, and follow-ups across initiatives to support execution and accountability
  • Ensure inputs and outputs for operating reviews are consistent, reliable, and delivered on time
  • Collaborate with Business Operations teammates and functional partners to align on data definitions, metrics, and reporting standards
  • Design, document, and implement Business Operations processes including planning, execution tracking, and performance management workflows
  • Identify opportunities to replace manual, fragmented, or inconsistent processes with efficient, repeatable operating practices
  • Maintain clear documentation for standards, workflows, and reporting to support adoption and scalability as the function grows
  • Act as a trusted, execution-focused thought partner to functional teams on operationalizing strategy and improving results
