About The Position

Shape the future of geotechnical technology in North America.Orica Digital Solutions is seeking a results‑driven Sales Director to lead the commercial success of our Geosolutions In‑Situ brands across the United States. In this strategic leadership role, you will develop and execute growth strategies for the mining and infrastructure markets, strengthen customer engagement, and accelerate adoption of innovative geotechnical monitoring solutions.If you thrive in fast‑paced commercial environments, excel at developing high‑impact sales teams, and bring strong technical understanding of mining, civil, or geotechnical applications—this role is for you. The vacancy is to fill an existing position. This position will be home based; we are open to this person being located anywhere in the United States. You will be required to travel up to 50% throughout the United States and as needed throughout Canada.

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mining, or Geotechnical Engineering; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years progressive commercial leadership experience, including technical sales.
  • 5+ years leading teams and managing sales pipelines, forecasts, and CRM usage.
  • Strong collaboration, influencing, and change management abilities.
  • High integrity, strong communication skills, and a growth mindset approach to leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with mining or infrastructure tendering and contracting (asset).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (asset).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the U.S. sales strategy for Geosolutions In Situ brands, driving revenue, margin, and market share growth.
  • Build, coach, and develop a high performing commercial team (business development & inside sales).
  • Define winning market specific and channel strategies for U.S. mining and infrastructure markets.
  • Strengthen customer engagement and unlock new opportunities through deep market and competitive insights.
  • Collaborate with Global Business Development, Product Management, Marketing, and Technical Specialists to deliver customer centric geotechnical solutions.
  • Provide “voice of customer” input to shape product roadmaps, value propositions, and pricing strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision makers in mining companies, engineering firms, and infrastructure organizations.
  • Represent Orica at industry events and conferences across the U.S.
  • Oversee the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close—ensuring outstanding customer experience throughout.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management through Salesforce and EPICOR.
  • Travel up to 50% across the U.S., with occasional travel to Canada.
