About The Position

Join Walmart’s Optical division as an Assortment Insights and Analytics Manager, where you’ll leverage advanced analytics to shape the future of our optical business. About the Optical Assortment Insights & Analytics Team: Our team partners closely with buyers and business leaders to optimize product assortments and modular layouts across Walmart’s Optical business. We use data-driven insights to identify trends, improve customer experiences, and fuel business growth. In this role, you’ll be at the center of decision-making, helping to transform how we serve our customers and stay ahead of the competition.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Scintilla and Power BI for business analytics
  • Strong background in assortment planning, modular design, or retail analytics
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable business stories
  • Experience collaborating and proven track record of gaining alignment with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Design, Marketing, Mathematics, or related field and 2 years’ experience in retail, replenishment, supplier sales, finance, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in retail, replenishment, supplier sales, finance, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales and customer data using Scintilla and Power BI to identify trends and opportunities
  • Develop and validate modular assortments and layouts for optical categories
  • Collaborate with buyers and cross-functional teams to align strategies and execute modular relays
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations
  • Oversee the accuracy and execution of modular designs
