The US Consumer Services & Digital Technology (USCDT) team is at the forefront of innovation, bringing together foundational strategic capabilities in digital experience engineering, AI/ML, marketing technology, enterprise communications, travel and lifestyle, and automation. This is grounded in a data technology model that prioritizes data governance and management. Within USCDT, the Enterprise Communications and Marketing Technology (ECMT) team focuses on developing cutting-edge omni-channel communications, global brand management, and marketing and advertising technology to expand customer engagement and drive business growth. The team plays a critical role in building both customer-facing and core technical capabilities that cut across business lines and customer segments. Manager Assistant, Technology will report into the Vice President – Enterprise Communications and Marketing Technology and be a key member of the USCDT chief-of-staff group. This person will play a meaningful role in supporting ECMT - a team of 300+ global colleagues - and the USCDT Organization by contributing to overall technology and business planning, provide strategic planning and influence key decisions by supporting strategy and vision, providing recommendations for areas of improvement, driving culture and innovation, and managing key activities to support the team day to day. In this role, the Manager Assistant will act as an advisor and key consultant to the Vice President and will work with partners across Technology, Product and Business Units. · This role is ideal for someone with the ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously and establish collaborative partnerships across the Technology, Product and Business organizations, and collaborate with key Engineering leaders and other partner teams to drive strategic initiatives, and define clear goals and success criteria.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic, analytical and decision support on a wide range of complex technology and business issues and initiatives, and will be required to:
  • Support the Vice President, Technology in preparing communications and materials for high exposure strategic technology reviews/presentations to senior leaders and external audiences.
  • Lead the development and execution of internal communications on behalf of the Vice President for key events, technology updates and other deliverables, including accountability for coordinating Town Halls and Business Unit Reviews.
  • Lead the development and execution of strategies and initiatives to drive Colleague Engagement.
  • Support planning and operations (e.g. annual budget and investment planning, risk and finance reviews, weekly staff meetings, goal setting and performance review cycles).
  • Coordinate hiring plans to grow our workforce talent across teams and locations according to organizational strategy.
  • Manage operations with key vendors, including finance, business reviews, and contractor support.
  • Build strong working relationships across the USCDT organization and key partners to enhance collaboration and problem solving, and to generate solutions to deliver results.
