About The Position

The Production Applications Support Manager position is responsible for the high-level success of Production Applications Support teams. This will include guiding project management, time management, coaching, training, organizing and planning. They will need to assure the team goals are met and establish new goals and motivators. Managers are expected to maintain a healthy in office schedule during business hours to facilitate team communication, with the option to work remote as needed. This position ensure the team’s quality of work and continued improvement. Manage a team(s) of Production Application Support analysts, administrators and engineers who support the Windows and Unix based technologies and applications in DaVita. Build, coach and manage leaders to promote structure and quality within our teams. Lead, manage and monitor all aspects of upgrading, repairing and replacing a server in our Clinic environment and to ensure efficient operations. Manage proactive support solutions, to include alerting, related to our teams responsibilities. Ensure and provide objective evidence that proactive and reactive software and hardware maintenance is being performed to DaVita standards. Manage our customer requirements around application health and insuring our support meets expectations. Manage escalations and customer service issues through to successful resolution. Prioritize and provide a balance between operational duties and project related activities. Collaborate with other IT organizational teams in support of enterprise wide goals.
