Manager – AI Software Development Architect The opportunity We’re hiring an experienced Software Architect that is an expert in the emerging are of AI Native software development. This role is for a software development professional who has leveraged AI techniques to create traditional software and built AI agents as a component of the product. The successful candidate is someone who has successfully designed and implemented AI native applications using Agents and other AI techniques and integrated these capabilities with code for a product. Understanding of agile AI enabled devops is a key requirement of this role. The candidate should thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about enabling scalable AI solutions.

Requirements

5-10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture for products.
Prefer early-stage start-up experience in technical product development or equivalent innovation development in larger corporations
Use of AI native software development tools / code assist (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub Co-pilot
Strong proficiency with Linux and AI native container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes realizing multitenant applications with cloud / bare metal DC portability.
Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash etc….) and software languages (Go, Rust, Java etc…).
Understand modern API (REST, gRPC, A2A, MCP etc…) design as it applies to agentic systems.
Deep understanding of model fine tuning and customization through context management (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT etc…)
Experience with modern software IDE, CI/CD pipeline, modern code hosting and collaboration (Github/Gitlab/Azure DevOps etc…)
Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and MSFT Azure AI stacks.
Modern AI Native tools Figma.AI, 8090.AI, base44 etc…

Nice To Haves

Experience with large-scale cross functional software development projects.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop AI Native designs in conjunction with product team.
Support tool chain selection and technical assessments.
Develop best practices for AI Native development design patterns.
Provide guidance on how to evolve existing applications to best adopt useful AI functions and technology.
Assess new proposed projects to insure they are leveraging best practices for AI architecture design and implementation.
Collaborate with other architectural experts in AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure to insure balanced and practical outcomes.
Support strategic business development activities for emerging technology.

Benefits

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.
The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $125,500 to $230,200.
The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $150,700 to $261,600.
Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
