About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager Accounts to lead our accounting operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and experience managing end-to-end financial processes in a fast-paced business environment.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA / CA / CMA qualification preferred).
6–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting and ERP software.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings.
Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises.
Monitor budget performance, highlight variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Taxation & Compliance
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including income tax, sales tax, and withholding taxes.
Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for audits and filings.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
Monitor cash flows and working capital requirements.
Manage banking relationships, oversee payments, and ensure efficient fund utilization.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization within accounting functions.
Implement accounting best practices and digital tools to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
Team Leadership
Supervise and mentor the accounting team, ensuring timely deliverables and professional development.
Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement within the department.
