About The Position

MIRACORP, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Management Analyst to provide analytical and program support to the U.S. Department of Energy. This role supports management and program functions by tracking project status, analyzing financial data, assessing reporting needs, and ensuring compliance with DOE guidelines. The Management Analyst will work closely with federal stakeholders to interpret data, identify issues, and develop actionable recommendations that support effective program execution. Location: U.S. Department of Energy, Idaho Falls, ID

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience in management analysis or consulting OR Associate’s degree and 7 years OR 9 years of direct experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret data and develop actionable recommendations
  • Knowledge of business process design and reporting workflows
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Program & Project Analysis Provide analytical support for management and program functions
  • Track project and program status, budgets, milestones, and deliverables
  • Identify issues requiring management attention and propose solutions
  • Financial & Data Analysis Analyze financial data and reconcile entries across systems
  • Assess reporting needs and recommend improvements to local and site-specific reporting processes
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance in all analytical outputs
  • Reporting & Decision Support Develop presentations, reports, dashboards, and decision-support materials
  • Prepare summaries and briefings for DOE leadership
  • Maintain spreadsheets, tracking tools, and program documentation
  • Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate with internal teams and DOE stakeholders
  • Support communication and information flow across program offices
  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordination of program activities
