About The Position

GXM is seeking to hire a Junior Management Analyst to support management analysis activities in support of Naval development programs. The selected candidate will work closely with development teams and program stakeholders to support analysis of software and system requirements across multiple projects. The Management Analyst will support the development, management, and presentation of program impact briefs and analytical papers for a major weapon system in support of product development while working under the guidance of senior staff. The candidate will support the review and analysis of system requirements and assist in identifying operational impacts to applicable requirements and design specifications. This is a full-time, exempt position that may be performed remotely, with short-term travel to Virginia locations as required by the project. This position will be based out of Fredericksburg, VA with occasional travel to Dahlgren, VA. About GXM GXM is a team of creative professionals focused on solving problems for end users. Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact directly with customers and engineering personnel
  • Three (3) years of experience serving as a requirements analyst or process improvement manager
  • Experience developing and maintaining Department of War manuals and specifications
  • Experience writing technical reports
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis. Prior Navy Experience is a requirement.
  • Minimum of three (3) years professional or operational experience in developing support requirements and applicable documentation for a major defense weapon systems program that employs the use of GOTS and COTS products
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience performing functions involving the development of products and embedded help/training for a major weapon, combat, and/or fire control system
  • Must be detail oriented and able to effectively communicate and disseminate information verbally and in writing
  • Expert knowledge of and ability with Microsoft Office products

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Naval or other Department of War software development programs.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical field.
