About The Position

Bowhead is seeking a Management Analyst for a newly awarded contract in Arlington, VA. The Management Analyst will be the s enior expert and must have extensive knowledge and experience developing and applying analytic methodologies and principles.

Requirements

• Education: BS or BA degree. An AS or AA degree and an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS or an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS.
• Experience: At least four (4) years of experience as an analyst in a program management, technical, or business analysis discipline; and included in the four (4) years, there must be two (2) years professional experience supporting NAVAIR programs or offices.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation.
• Experience using advanced features of Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level.
• US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

Responsibilities

• Conduct organizational studies and evaluations
• Design systems and procedures
• Conduct work simplification and measurement studies
• Prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
• Includes program analysts and management consultants.
• Directs the activities of more junior Analysts or other staff as necessary on activities related to the application of analytical techniques and methodologies.
