The Management Analyst (Financial) will provide high-level financial analysis in support of U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) contracts to the Financial Lead and Project Management. Work Model: Onsite/Office Based

Requirements

  • US Citizen.
  • Bachelor's Degree required in Accounting or Finance.
  • Four (4) years of specific USCG support in the financial area. This experience will be in the types of funding, reporting requirements and evaluating contract documentation.
  • Supervisory experience of five (5) or more subordinates.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with people in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize own work as well as assigned personnel.
  • Ability to work alone or in a team environment as required.
  • Ability to research and analyze operational data.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office and related business software.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree would be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Financial Management Analysis to Project Managers in support of USCG contracts.
  • Create/edit budgets and financial tracking documentation as required.
  • Provide Program Manager with on time financial picture
  • Perform oversight and analysis to financial admin.
  • Provide support to multiple Program and Project Managers with financial standings on their contracts including but not limited to creating cost estimates and proposals to support the CG and IPT needs.
  • Development and editing of business, operational, and technical documents, engineering changes, meeting and trip reports, Maintenance Procedures (MPC), training material, and after-action reports.
  • Customer interactions, formal and informal training, and meeting facilitation.
  • Other duties may be assinged.
