About The Position

Financial Management Analyst Key Role: Provide finan cia l management and analytical support to a Military Service Headquarters organization. Apply understanding of Program Objective Memorandum ( POM ) processes to support client planning, programming, and budget ing requirements. Manage the organization’s internal POM priorities and research, and c ond uct analyses of prior year POM inputs and budget execution. Leverage appropriate DoD budget systems and coordinate with stakeholders to gather finan cia l and operational data, as required. Develop client-ready deliverables such as briefings and reports, for a variety of audiences across the DoD, including deliverables for senior leadership levels. Organize meetings and conference calls, generate meeting minutes, and track implementation of agreed–to items.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with the DoD
  • Experience with DoD budget systems such as the Program Budget Information System ( PBIS ) and Defense Agencies Initiative ( DAI )
  • Experience using Micro sof t Office Suite programs, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of the DoD’s POM processes
  • Ability to be a self-starter and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, analyzing finan cia l data and prioritizing tasks
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Finance, or Accounting field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with the U.S. Navy or Marine Corps
  • Knowledge of Micro sof t Power BI
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Master’s degree in a related field
