About The Position

This position is for a Part-time Mammography Technologist at Baptist Health Hardin Hospital, working a day shift for 20 hours per week. The role involves operating Radiologic equipment to produce clinical radiographs (X-rays) for diagnostic purposes, under the direction of Radiologists. The technologist will perform diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices, specifically radiographic examinations of the breast as requested by a physician.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency that the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) recognizes, or military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program
• Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
• Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT
• Certification in mammography within one year of hire

Nice To Haves

• One to three years of experience as an RT
• Mammography experience
• BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire
