About The Position

This position is for a Mammography Technologist at Baptist Health Hardin Hospital, working part-time for 20 hours per week on the day shift. The role involves operating Radiologic equipment to produce clinical radiographs (X-rays) for diagnostic purposes, under the direction of Radiologists. The technologist will perform diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices, specifically focusing on radiographic examinations of the breast as requested by a physician.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency that the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) recognizes, or military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program
• Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
• Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT
• Certification in mammography within one year of hire

Nice To Haves

• One to three years of experience as an RT
• Mammography experience
• BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire
