About The Position

The Major Accounts Manager, HVAC/Heat Pump and Home Electrification is a partner-facing role focused on developing strategic growth channels with national platforms, software providers, and OEMs. Candidates should demonstrate expertise and deep knowledge of the HVAC segment, proven GTM experience, and creativity in conceiving, developing, and launching strategic partnerships and innovative growth strategies. Requirements

  • 5-10 years of strategic account experience in the HVAC Segment.
  • Demonstrable entrepreneurial mindset, and flexible approach to problem solving.
  • Experience developing strategic GTM plans, and engagement and influence of senior stakeholders.
  • Extensive network across the HVAC ecosystem.
  • Strong presentation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% regionally/nationally.
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.

  • Experience with consumer finance and/or consumer digital products is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, manage and grow relationships with major residential accounts including builders, developers, multi-family property managers, software platforms, OEMS, and contractor groups.
  • Develop tailored solutions and growth strategies that meet the unique requirements of each account and ensure durable and repeatable sales motions for Palmetto products
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and service level agreements with a focus on long-term partnership and mutual profitability.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (sales, service, engineering, product) to ensure seamless execution and high customer satisfaction as well as rapid refinement to tools, resources, and partner support processes.
  • Gather field-level feedback to inform platform improvements and partner enablement content.
  • Ensure a high level of professionalism and partner satisfaction across every touchpoint.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for major account-related inquiries, ensuring timely follow-up and proactive communication.
  • Stay informed on residential HVAC technologies, market trends, and develop strategic growth plans that meet the current market need.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and performance evaluations, identifying growth areas within existing opportunities
  • Attend trade events, builder meetings, and networking functions to strengthen brand visibility and relationships.
