About The Position

Our team works with world leading companies in every major industry to make the internet fast and secure. As a partner to the Global 500, we collaborate with customers and prospects to align Akamai solutions to business needs. We build relationships and insights to maximize product value through the full scope of our global platform. Work with our future customers! You will be maximizing revenue within your territory through selling into new accounts with the Akamai Portfolio. This will include focused selling efforts within our channel and reseller network. As a Major Account Executive Senior New Accounts, you will be responsible for: Building and maintain high level strategic partner / reseller relationships Articulating Akamai's value proposition to C-Level executives and corporate decision makers Developing a strategic sales plan to create/manage a high-volume sales pipeline through successful execution Working within partnerships across field marketing, sales representatives and resources to ensure a consultative engagement with customers Managing contract negotiations to ensure customer satisfaction and adoption of Akamai technologies Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent Possess understanding of Internet performance, Internet Security, Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure Demonstrate successful sales experience in SaaS, IaaS and solutions sales Have demonstrated success building and maintaining strategic partner relationships Have ideal experience working within the Avant or similar Trusted Advisor partner sales space. Requirements

  • Have 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
