About The Position

The Maintenance/Utility Lead is an Associate Director that is accountable for the management of all maintenance staff supporting Infrastructure Maintenance, Vaccine, and Biologic or Antibiotic Sterile operations. This group is responsible for improving asset reliability and manufacturing capacity by providing maintenance and technical support in the field in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Safety, and Environmental regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in Manufacturing, Maintenance or Military environments OR
  • Associate’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or similar discipline) or related scientific field (Chemistry, Physics, Math) and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Manufacturing, Maintenance or Military environments OR
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or similar discipline) or related scientific field (Chemistry, Physics, Math) and a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Manufacturing, Maintenance or Military environments.
  • Minimum Eight (8) years of supervisory experience with responsibility for maintenance or reliability direct reports (both salaried and hourly).
  • Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in relevant Maintenance or Utilities Operations in areas such as Maintenance Supervisor/Manager, Maintenance Planner and Scheduler, Reliability or Maintenance Engineer or Utilities Maintenance and Operations in Industrial, Military or other highly regulated roles.
  • Experience in managing equipment turnover packages, creating operating procedures, maintenance job plans and spare parts documentation.
  • Experience in designing and developing a predictive and preventive maintenance program
  • Demonstrated ability to create an engaged workforce using Inclusion as the How.
  • Demonstrated success with Talent Management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in introducing reliability engineering starting at the design of facilities and/or equipment.
  • Reliability Engineering for Maintenance experience (Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Criticality Analysis, Project Management (PM) optimization, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), etc.)
  • Asset condition experience using predictive maintenance tools such as vibration analysis, ultrasound, IR, etc.
  • Experience in CMMS implementations or upgrades such as SAP or ProCal.
  • Union environment experience.
  • Working Knowledge of GMP for pharmaceutical, Sterile, Biologics and/or Vaccine manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated experience of interacting with site, divisional or regulatory audits.
