Requirements

High school diploma or GED is necessary
1-3 years in manufacturing industry is preferred. If applicants do not have manufacturing experience, on-the-job training will be offered.
Previous machine operation, material handling, production or other warehouse related experience is mandatory.
Basic math, measurement, computer skills, and ability to follow directions.
NMP employees must be able to repeatedly lift up to 10lbs and occasionally lift up to 30lbs as needed.
Ability to follow all safety and health regulations

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul equipment and perform preventative and predictable maintenance tasks
Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem solving on process and packaging equipment
Effectively communicate with operators, peers, supervisors, and all levels of management
Provide support where needed and complete all duties assigned by team leader
Adhere to all safety policies including Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO), confined space procedures and all other plant safety policies
