The Maintenance position is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the proper operation of all the equipment within a production area. Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems. Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices. Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear. Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions, following checklists. Plan and lay out repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, and schematic diagrams. Repair and maintain the operating conditions of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment. Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs. Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, and assemble new equipment. Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electrical components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment. Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electrical testing devices. Set up and operate machines and adjust controls to regulate operations. Complete daily logs. SAP utilization. Order parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogs and suppliers, or obtain them from storerooms/ vendors Clean machines and machine parts, using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment. Attend daily DDS, review KHMS standards, work in a team environment, and communicate effectively
